At this time, the DeKalb County Board of Education holds all Board of Education Meetings in-person, but due to social distancing requirements, members of the public are asked to view the live stream and/or broadcast. The meetings can be viewed at the following link on DeKalb Schools TV (DSTV) by going to: https://www.dekalbschoolsga.org/communications/dstv, or Comcast channel 24 for Comcast subscribers in DeKalb County.
THE MONTHLY SCHEDULE FOR REGULAR BOARD MEETINGS IS AS FOLLOWS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE:
11:30 AM- 12:30 PM – COMMUNITY INPUT MEETING (PREVIOUSLY RECORDED COMMENTS SHOWN AT 11:30 AM)
1:00 PM – EXECUTIVE SESSION/COMBINED WORK SESSION & BUSINESS MEETING.
Individuals wishing to speak may submit a request in writing to the Board Office via e-mail at dorothea_brown@dekalbschoolsga.org no later than 12:00 noon on the Wednesday before the Community Meeting. Such request shall include the individual’s name, address, topic to be addressed, previous steps taken to resolve the concern, and the group (if any) that the individual is representing. The public comment period will be a maximum of one (1) hour or 20 speakers.
